Used Martin OM-28 Marquis
$3,995.00
In the 12 years since its discontinuation, the Martin OM-28 Marquis has cemented itself as a modern classic . This example was built in the model's inaugural year of 2005 and has weathered the past 20 years wonderfully. Its Adirondack spruce top is nicely played-in and sounding sweet. A very versatile instrument, it holds up well to a heavy strum while the wider 2-3/8" string spacing at the bridge facilitates easy fingerstyle playing. There's minor playwear throughout, including one patch of scuffed finish behind the bridge on the lower treble bout, a few shallow dings on the upper treble bout, and a few patches of hazy finish here and there, but overall cosmetic condition is excellent for its age. Setup with optimal playing action and intonation all the way up the mahogany modified-V neck with a nice and tall through saddle with plenty of break angle. Fresh fretwork courtesy of the Dusty Strings repair team has this OM primed for the years to come.
