Used Alan Simcoe 10-string Cittern
$1,995.00
A 10-string cittern handbuilt by local Washington luthier Alan Simcoe in 2011 featuring high quality materials, equipped with a K&K passive pickup and including a hard-shell case. Fit and finish are excellent, with an all-wooden solar rosette being one notable cosmetic highlight. The lacquer finish is in good shape, with not much visible wear beyond some minor edgewear and general telegraphing of the grain. A hairline crack, around 4 inches long, has been repaired and cleated at the bass side bout and is fully stable. Unison courses currently tuned to C-G-D-A-E, but many other tunings are possible with the correct gagues.
