Teacher: Miki Nelson is the owner of booking agency Celtinental Music, specializing in mostly Celtic masters of their craft. She first began working with the Seattle Folklore Society on producing concerts, then owned and ran her own concert production company Tir na nOg, bringing in Celtic masters that she loved so much, dealing with agents and artists from a promoter point of view. She morphed into a booking agent after several of those artists moaned that they had no agents, and her agency has since booked tours for many award-winning artists such as trad Irish fiddle master Gerry O’ Connor, Scottish songstress Iona Fyfe, master Celtic guitarist Tony McManus, premier Scottish band the Tannahill Weavers, amazing Italian band Ensemble Sangineto, and more. www.celtinentalmusic.com
