Bottleneck style uses a slide worn on a single finger of the fretting hand, the first of which were created from the necks of glass bottles. Learn a tune in G tuning from the Delta blues tradition of artists like Robert Johnson and Fred McDowell, as well as slide techniques.

Skills needed: Familiarity with blues music will assist participants in this class for intermediate guitarists.

What to bring: Please bring your guitar. Please give us a call if you think your guitar might need a tune-up!

Teacher: Eric Madis is a working musician, recording artist and has taught guitar throughout the US and Canada since 1976.
