Used Custom Fretless 5-String Banjo
$999.00
A nifty 5-string fretless open back banjo of unknown manufacture, possibly a conversion neck attached to an early 20th century pot with a rolled steel tone ring - perhaps from A.C. Fairbanks or the like. The neck is an excellent fit and made from some nicely flamed maple with a glassy smooth ebony fingerboard. Courtesy finger position side dot inlays for the first 12 positions provide some welcome guidance up the 26-1/4" scale. Tuning machines are all geared and the skin head is in good shape. Includes a hard-shell case.
