In this special masterclass, Muriel will share her innovative approach to technique, arranging, interpretation, and inspiration. She will share what she learned directly from Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, Doc Watson, Christopher Parkening, Segovia, Jimmy Page and Merle Travis’s son Thom Bresh. Every participant will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual attention on techniques, playing, and musicianship to help you make the most of your time with your guitar. This workshop is guaranteed to give you new inspiration and something new to add to your guitar playing.
Skills Needed: This class is for intermediate guitar players.
What to Bring: Your guitar, notebook and pencil, and smartphone/recording device. Teacher:Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. She is a gifted instructor and has learned from many legendary musicians. She tours year-round and hosts the famous Muriel Anderson’s All Star Guitar Night. Her recent release is “Sailing Dreams".
