Used 2007 Larrivee JCL 40th Anniversary Reissue limited edition guitar in excellent condition and including an aftermarket hardshell case. One of a run of 100 guitars built to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the brand with unique features including choice tonewoods, hand-shaped bracing, wood marquetry rosette and backstripe, and JCL headstock logo inlay. Larrivee did a great job with the voicing of this guitar - it's rich with overtones and sustains beautifully while retaining a crisp, woody transient. It holds together well in the low end and never gets loose or mushy, and it intonates accurately up the board. A really great all-arounder capable of just about any style you can throw at it. Frets were lightly leveled in preparation for sale in order to achieve optimal playability with action measuring 6/64" and 4/64" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with .005" relief in the neck and plenty of saddle exposure above the surface of the ebony bridge. Cosmetic condition is excellent with only the faintest signs of handling to be found anywhere in the finish and no visible wear in the frets. Includes a non-original TKL 3-ply hardshell case with a Martin badge.
