This Deering-built Vega banjo now comes available in cherry wood. The cherry produces a slightly warmer tone quality than the original maple while still maintaining a brilliance. The streaked ebony fingerboard, which is described as "smoky", will surely catch attention. A Dobson tone ring mildly increases the sustain while balancing the low and high frequencies.
