Used 2020 McAlister Concert Model featuring a German spruce top and flamed maple back and sides in excellent+ condition and including its original Ameritage hardshell case. As far as one-man operations go, you'd be hard-pressed to find a guitar builder with such consistently excellent output as Roy McAlister. Every one of his guitars that comes through our door seems to be a gem, and this Concert Model is no exception. It's a lively and unique sounding guitar; the sensitivity of the German spruce top complements perfectly the snappy midrange and percussive immediacy imparted by the maple body, and every note rings out with even volume up and across the board. It also handles downtuning like a champ and can really get to growling if you dig in. Cosmetics are also supremely well-executed, with the black and white tuxedo motif reflected in every detail from the multiple striped macassar ebony accents to the black painted neck and even the black Gotoh 510 tuning machines with white buttons. It plays great, too, with action measuring 6/64" and 4/64" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with .005" relief in the neck and optimal saddle exposure above the surface of the ebony bridge. Gig-ready and wired up with a combination of DiMarzio's Black Angel Piezo bridge plate transducer and Black Angel magnetic soundhole pickup, which has been unplugged and stored in the case for safekeeping.
