Northfield Big Mon, Wide Nut

This very popular model features a slightly larger than standard body for increased midrange and bass response. This particular variation comes with a wider than standard nut width and an Engelmann spruce top which generally produces a warmer sound with more overtones. It typically favors a lighter touch with more responsiveness, but is often not as loud as the red spruce version and can distort if played too aggressively. The appointments are all top quality and the fit and finish on these is as nice as anything else on the market.
