Get out of your rut! Come and explore the world of making up music using games and prompts. We will focus on flow, curiosity, devotion to the music and relationship to other musicians, our harps and ourselves.

Skills Needed: All levels welcome.

What to Bring: Please bring your harp (any size), tune before you come (no specific key needed). No levers needed. Leave your music stand at home. Need a harp? Dusty Strings can provide a loaner harp for the workshop. Please call the store (206) 634-1662 at least a week beforehand as loaners are subject to availability.

Teacher: Colorado native, Margot Krimmel, has extensive teaching experience (Swallow Hill Music School, Colorado Academy, Naropa University, Suzuki Master Teacher). She has recorded three solo CDs, three CDs with Celtic singer, Beth Gadbaw and has played on countless others. She studied harp with Deborah Henson-Conant, Helen Hope and Sylvia Woods and improvisation with jazz pianist, Art Lande. Her most recent album, Ever the New Time Comes, features her compositions for solo harp.
