Description
From builder Will Bright in Bellingham, WA. Will has been building and repairing guitars since 2001 and been working on this small Bear Cub style since 2015. This spectacular small guitar features a carved Sitka spruce top and a carved out sapele body with a maple center strip. The fretboard and bridge are East Indian Rosewood and the 17" scale length neck is black walnut. The custom tailpiece is Indian rosewood and it's rounded out with a walnut headstock overlay with a mother-of-pearl Bright logo. The nut width is 1.8" and the tuners are nice Hipshots. It can be tuned B-B (capo at 7th on regular guitar) or A-A (capo at 5th fret) with regular light or custom light acoustic strings. Equipped with a K&K Twin pickup. The tone is amazingly big, bold, and bright for such a small, travel oriented guitar. Imagine a guitar in a mandolin body! We were impressed the first time we played it! Great craftsmanship, build quality, and tone! Includes a gig bag.
