Martin's Orchestra model has the longer scale length of a dreadnought, but the smaller body size and shape of the 14-fret 000. The longer scale adds tension to the strings which in turn drives the top of the guitar for added volume and punch. The smaller, curvier body shape provides excellent bass/treble balance across all six strings. OM's are often favored by fingerstyle players, but can be adapted to any style.
