The Martin D-28 needs no introduction, however, many people may not be familiar with the Modern Deluxe variation. Several features are unique to this line of guitars. A torrefied Sitka spruce top is paired with Adirondack spruce braces for added stiffness, increasing the overall headroom. The wooden binding gives it a contemporary yet organic look, while abalone inlays provide a touch of flashiness. The new carbon fiber bridge plate is ultra-lightweight yet very supportive for the higher tensioned medium gauge strings. This particular model comes with an excellent sounding LR Baggs Anthem electronics system. These have been quick sellers and for good reason, they sound great.
