Used Iris MS-00 12-fret

Although it's five or so years now that we've been a dealer for Iris Guitar Company, this 2023 MS-00 12-fret is one of the first examples we've seen come in the door used, and what a great guitar it is, especially for the money. Made in Burlington, Vermont with an aim toward superior sound, simple finishes, and lightweight construction, Iris instruments consistently deliver a focused, woody tone with a worn-in vintage feel. This MS-00 is a smaller body design with dimensions similar to a Gibson L-00, but a touch larger due to the 12-fret body, which provides a little more headroom and a deeper low end. This is a beautiful sounding guitar with a rich midrange and clear top end — very responsive and sensitive to player inflection. Condition is excellent, with wear limited to a few sparse marks in the finish on the top and a glossing of the satin finish on the back of the neck. Frets are in great shape with only minor flattening visible beneath the plain strings in the first few positions only.
