Here's a lovely OM built for the 2015 Summer NAMM show by Dana Bourgeois and his crew in Maine, featuring some crazily-figured Madagascar rosewood for the back and sides paired with a sunburst bearclaw Adirondack spruce top. As often happens with show guitars, this one's loaded up with stuff those premium tone woods are complemented by figured koa binding on the body, a ziricote veneer on the headstock, and snakewood buttons on the gold Waverly tuners.
As with all of Dana's guitars, the fit and finish is perfect, the tone is balanced, rich and round, with an easy playability. After 10 years this guitar is starting to come into its own but has little wear to show for it, save a tiny bit on the frets in the lower positions. All wrapped up in a beautiful package!
