Tai Shan is an award-winning music educator known for her personable, supportive approach to teaching guitar, voice, ukulele, and songwriting. Her students have gone on to perform on stages across the U.S., win songwriting competitions, and even sign with an indie record label.

Online lessons are taught using Zoom. In the first session, students begin by setting personal goals. These are kept online and all class work is geared around them. Students also receive a personalized Dropbox folder with PDFs, recordings, videos, and a lesson video for later review (if requested). That way, homework will never get lost and you’ll always know what to practice.

An award-winning songwriter, Tai has been featured in magazines including Billboard, American Songwriter, and Americana UK. Her most recent album Traveling Show recently hit 36,000 streams on Spotify. She has toured the United States, Mexico, and Canada, sung for Pope John Paul II, performed for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and at the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, where she resides. Tai is a magna cum laude graduate of Cornish College of the Arts.
