2006 Collings D2HG with a German spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides in excellent condition, featuring some choice cosmetic upgrades and including the original hard shell case. This is a huge sounding dreadnought, very present and dynamic with an extra dose of biting lower midrange thanks in part to the sensitivity of its German spruce top. Custom options include a cut-through saddle, fingerboard and headstock binding, and a dalmation pickguard. Setup with action measuring 6/64" and 4/64" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with .005" relief in the neck. This guitar plays supremely well and in tune up and down the modified-v mahogany neck. A very well-kept guitar with cosmetic wear limited to some small patches of minor finish haze, a couple tiny dimples in the top on the upper bout, and a few faint pick marks in the lacquer beneath the pickguard, all shallow and only visible in certain light. Frets are near factory condition, with the only detectable trace of wear being the absolute slightest hint of a mark on the first fret beneath the second string only.
