Taylor has always incorporated innovative design elements into the acoustic guitar and this model has a few of them, but it's their quest to recreate a traditional tonality that has inspired this Gold Label series. A classic slope-shouldered dreadnought is the starting point, which they call the Grand Pacific. They've made it a bit deeper for added bass presence, with a little wider waist and their unique V-class bracing which offers a clarity and note seperation while also being warm and evenly blended. Combined with their revolutionary Action control neck, which allows the player to reset the neck angle for precise setup specs with only a hex key, and you have an excellent sounding guitar that can compete with some of the classic flatpicking guitars of the last century.
