Chris Haugen is a nationally recognized guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. With years of experience recording and performing popular and folk styles, Chris helps beginner to advanced guitarists build skills on guitar, slide guitar, lap steel, Weissenborn, and more.
As a teacher, Chris encourages students to learn the music they want to play. “Music is a lifetime of learning and enjoyment, self-expression, and imagination,” he says. “It’s jamming with friends, time to unwind, and beach bonfires.” Chris is equally at home working with both acoustic and electric guitar students.
Chris' recent release “Lakeside Sessions”, recorded in his studio on Lake Washington, has over 1.2M streams and was selected FYC 2024 Grammy awards.
