Description

After many years building and designing for various heavy-hitters in the guitar industry, Nick Sugimoto founded Sugi Guitars in 2002, and has been building premium electric guitars in Japan and the USA ever since. Made in Japan in 2019, this singlecut SH485E features chambered mahogany and quilted maple construction and is equipped with custom-wound humbucking pickups wired up to a 5-position switch for a wealth of split-coil and parallel humbucking tones. Fretwork, fit, and finish are all on par with the best of them; an impressive guitar by any measure. Cosmetic condition is excellent with finish wear limited to very minor hazing and shallow scratches here and there. Stainless steel frets are polished to a high shine and show no signs of wear in any position.
