2000 Lowden S25 cutaway featuring a Western red cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides in excellent cosmetic condition, freshly setup with optimal playing action and including its original Hiscox hard case. Typical Lowden understated elegance is on full display here, with notable cosmetic appointments including a green abalone rosette, rosewood binding, and the impeccable Lowden semi-gloss finish. This is a rich and immediately resonant instrument with a full voice, very dynamic and sensitive to player inflection. Plays beautifully with action measuring 6/64" and 4/64" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with .006" relief in the 5-piece neck. Playwear is light for its age, with a small patch of pickwear on the treble side of the fretboard extension the only noticeable wear aside from a few minor dings here and there. Frets were lightly dressed by the Dusty Strings repair team in preparation for sale and are all level with no flat spots or divots and plenty of material remaining.
