Used 2003 Ibanez GB200 George Benson signature hollowbody featuring a solid carved spruce top and laminate maple back and sides in excellent condition and including a hard-shell case. A classic 16" jazz archtop with the premium construction and attention to detail we've come to expect out of the Fujigen factory in Japan. This is one smooth operator, with lush tones and sweet sustain courtesy of the hollow archtop construction and the original pair of Ibanez Super '58 humbucking pickups. Setup to play beautifully with action measuring 5/64" and 4/64" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with .004" relief in the three-piece neck, strung up with 12-52 gauge D'Addario Chrome flatwound strings. One long finish check in the side that runs from the neck heel to the horn along the cutaway has been confirmed by our technicians as purely cosmetic and no structural concern. Cosmetic condition is otherwise quite clean with only light surface wear in the finish and very minor wear in a few frets in the lower positions. Includes a TKL hard-shell case with a Martin badge.
