2015 Collings MF Deluxe featuring a gloss Adirondack spruce top and Eastern flamed maple back, sides, and neck with Collings's Merlot finish in excellent condition and including its original hard case. This mandolin has taken on a sweet worn-in tone since we sold it new a decade ago. It has certainly been played, but wear is limited to light surface scratching on the top and one shallow circular finish chip on the center of the back, about the size of a dime. It's otherwise very clean. Frets are in great shape with only minor wear beneath the plain courses on the first five frets. Setup with speedy low action measuring 4/64" and a hair higher than 3/64" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with a hint of relief in the neck and plenty of room on the thumbwheels for future adjustment in either direction. Equipped with a passive K&K pickup professionally installed by the Dusty Strings expert repair team.
