This Orchestra model from the Traditional series exemplifies all of the attributes that make Collings one of the premier builders of flat top acoustic guitars. The custom neck profile, ultra-thin finish and tongue brace addition all set the Trad. series apart from the standard line. The gold MOP headstock inlay and custom wood purflings also add unique aesthetic touches to this top of the line model. This particular guitar features a torrefied Sitka spruce top which contributes to the "broken in" feel by mimicking the aging process that wood goes through over decades of playing.
