This very popular model features a slightly larger than standard body for increased midrange and bass response. This particular variation comes with an Engelmann spruce top which generally produces a warmer sound with more overtones. It typically favors a lighter touch with more responsiveness, but is often not as loud as the red spruce version and can distort if played too aggressively.
