This class will teach diatonic (single key) improvisation. Instruction will include some music theory (harmony) and techniques for improvisation based on simple triads (three-note chords), diads created from triads, scales, common licks, and simple, logical consideration of the guitar fretboard. This information can be applied to any style of music.

Skills Needed: For guitarists at intermediate and above skill levels.

What to Bring: Please bring your guitar. Please give us a call if you think your guitar might need a tune-up!

Teacher: Eric Madis is a working musician, recording artist and has taught guitar throughout the US and Canada since 1976.
