Anthony Jaeger

Guitar, Electric Bass, and Ukulele

Anthony Jaeger has been playing guitar and writing songs for over 20 years. He has played in many bands and toured in the US and Europe. He also frequents open mics and local band shows.

Anthony believes in using what the student wants to learn as a foundation and a starting point to begin building skills and technique - setting goals and working toward them with every lesson.

"I will teach how to understand, visualize, utilize, and master techniques and concepts. You will be able to play with confidence."

“Music is everything.”

When were you first introduced to music and what got you “hooked”?

When I was in 6th grade, my dad brought home an acoustic guitar. I had no idea he already knew how to play. A year later, I found a Telecaster hidden in the garage. It was like finding the holy grail. A few days later, I saw my dad play with some friends and it blew my mind. I've been hooked ever since.

What is one of your most memorable experiences as a performer?

I stayed in St. Gallen, Switzerland for a few months rehearsing for a European tour. The band and I had many adventures and met many friends in that time. St. Gallen was our last show of the tour. It was sold out and jam packed with everyone we had met while we were there. It was a blast.

Do you have any good practice tips for guitar players, or musicians in general?

Practice every day. Ten minutes a day is better than an hour a week. Set goals for yourself, map out how you'll get there, and work toward them every day.
