1985 Gibson ES-335 Dot Custom Shop model including its original Tim Shaw PAF humbuckers in excellent functional and cosmetic condition complete with its original hardshell case. This guitar is all original and has surprisingly little wear for its age, with signs of use limited to some minor hazing of the finish at the waist where the arm crosses over, moderate tarnishing of the pickup covers, and general light edgewear. Wiring harness is original, and the pickups are good and loud, measuring 7.23 Kohms at the bridge and 7.39 Kohms at the neck. Original fretwire is nice and level at factory height (which was on the low side for this time period) and original nibs are intact. Playing great with action measuring 5/64" and 4/64" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with .004" relief in the neck and plenty of room for adjustment in either direction on both the truss rod and bridge. Original hard case is in good shape with minor wear in the black tolex.
