Here's an absolute banger of a dreadnought from Santa Cruz, a standard model with a handful of options chosen with the flatpicker in mind. To the standard Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood makeup we've added a 1.75" nut width and Adi braces attached with hot hide glue. Aesthetically, we went with a couple classic choices, including herringbone purfling and an old school V-shaped neck profile. All told we're talking about a classic vibe realized by Richard Hoover's small but mighty team of luthiers, a loud, punchy dreadnought with a rich, round voice and incomparable fit and finish.
