Description
#31 squareneck resonator handmade in 1991 at the North Carolina workshop of esteemed dobro builder Bobby Wolfe in excellent cosmetic and functional condition and including a hard-shell case. A beautifully handcrafted instrument and one of fewer than 250 guitars Wolfe bult in his lifetime. Constructed with an open soundwell design featuring highly figured solid walnut for the neck, top, back, and sides and an ultra-fine lacquer finish. A wonderful sounding dobro with a balanced midrange that articulates bar hammer-ons and pull-offs perfectly and sustains for ages. Cosmetic condition is excellent, with some discoloration in the chrome plating on the coverplate the only notable wear aside from the general minor finish dings and checks one would expect from a 30+ year old guitar.
