Return Policies

Instruments

For in-store purchases, customers have 4 days to return an instrument for a full refund. The customer must have the receipt and the instrument must be in new condition, without any warranty being filed. Modifications to the instrument, like a strap button or pickup installation, void the refund. A 3% restocking fee will be deducted from refunds for purchases $1000 and higher paid by credit card.

Accessories

Customers have 4 days to return any accessory. Customers must have the receipt and the product must have its original packaging and be in new condition.

Books and DVDs

There are no refunds. Our staff is always available to help out and be sure you are getting exactly what you want.

Harmonicas

Washington State health regulations prohibit the return of harmonicas. We have a tester available in store. For web orders, we test every harmonica prior to shipping and make sure it is in perfect working order.

Web/Mail Order Purchases

 Shipped instruments have a 48-hour, full refund, return policy. A 3% restocking fee will be deducted from refunds for purchases $1000 and higher paid by credit card. Please see our Web/Mail FAQ page for more information.

Concerts and Events

For concert tickets, you can receive a full refund up to the start of the performance. For events, refer to the specific cancellation and refund policies for that event. Dusty Strings may cancel a concert or event at any time for any reason.
