Used Gibson L4 Used Gibson L4 Ca. late 1920s, maple back and sides, spruce top, ebony fingerboard and bridge, oval sound hole, bound neck, body, and headstock. Original celluloid pickguard, non-slanted "The Gibson" script logo, 16" body width, 11 1/2 frets to the body. Replaced tailpiece. Modern hardshell case. Good condition. Some binding separation at the waist. Could use a bit of fret dressing, but plays fine with a reasonable touch to the body. An interesting variation on the archtop guitar from one of the most important builders of the era.
