This is, without question, one of the finest sounding fingerstyle guitars of any size in the shop — every note has an immediate woody transient that blooms into a lovely rich reverb laden with overtones. It doesn't take more than a few strums to become enchanted by this irresistible small-bodied guitar, and it plays great, too, with action measuring 6\/64\" and 4\/64\" from the 12th fret to the bottom of the low and high strings, respectively, with .004\" relief in the neck. Cosmetic appointments including full grained ivoroid binding, herringbone purfling, and abalone slotted diamond fretboard inlays. Overall condition is excellent, especially for an instrument of this age, with playwear limited to a few minor scuffs and dings throughout. One circular finish ding on the back of the neck has been dropfilled, leveled, and polished to match the surrounding gloss. The work was very competently done and while it may be visible under certain light, it can't be felt at all.
