Using simple lead sheets, Rebecca will offer tips about arranging holiday favorites so they sound fresh and original. The workshop will cover the basics of harp accompaniment for three carols and include fun improvisational embellishments. Instruction will include some harmony essentials and harp techniques which will be applied to improvisation. Mastering these simple skills will give you the tools to arrange any tune on your harp all year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eSkills Needed:\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cspan style=\"color: #1c170f; background: #FFFFF8;\"\u003eElementary harp level and above. Her music career spans thirty years and embraces Celtic, popular and classical styles. Rebecca’s audiences include the President of Ireland, the Irish Consul General, and the International Bar Association. She has focused on improvisation and expanding the lever harp’s potential, especially with popular music. Her studies have taken her all over North America and Ireland to attend harp workshops with notable harpists. Rebecca loves teaching harp to students of all ages and levels.
