In 2010, Weddell began working with The Bushwick Book Club Seattle, an expanding non-profit collective of songwriters who each compose new music inspired by literature to share in monthly showcases focused around specific books. He is now the organization’s Associate Director. Along the way he has continued to teach a variety of instruments and styles across generations, helping hundreds find the joy of playing and singing with others.
