KEXP is a special place for me - I developed a lot as a musician in their workshops, going to live broadcasts, sneaking into the sound booth, and meeting artists I admire. It was memorable, because of the community environment and it was a showcase of artists of color in Seattle, so there were paintings and creations from all types of people from the city.
