Used Andersen A-5
$3,995.00
This is a fine A-style mandolin in excellent condition, built from top-quality materials by Seattle master luthier Steven Andersen. With a carved spruce top and exceptionally tight-grained flame maple body, it produces a pure, articulate tone. Very responsive and immaculately clear all the way up to the highest frets on the board, it would make a great candidate for any application from bluegrass to hot jazz. It boasts several premium cosmetic appointments, including grained top-to-bottom ivoroid binding, an elegant full-body sunburst, and Macassar ebony headstock overlay and backstrap. A real treasure from a retired legend of archtop instrument construction!
