Used B&D Montana Silverbell #3 Tenor
$2,395.00
With its intricate engravings and liberal use of pearloid and gold, this late 1920s Bacon & Day Montana Silverbell #3 is unapologetically fancy and a true closet champ. This example is in astounding condition, with plenty of luster left in the original gold-plated hardware. The calfskin head is in excellent shape, and there is no discernible wear on the original frets. The mute system is fully functional and is set up with a button on the bass side. The original knee lever is in the case-- a slightly oversized Lifton tenor banjo hard case in remarkably clean condition. One of the best sounding tenors we've heard in a long while, this banjo rings loud and clear!
