Level: Most appropriate for intermediate and advanced guitar players. Please ask if you are unsure, or have any questions!

Materials: Handouts provided. Please bring your guitar tuned to standard and a smartphone or other recording device.

Masks required at teacher’s discretion.

In this special master class, Muriel will share her innovative approach to technique, arranging, interpretation, and inspiration. Participants will learn new riffs or tunes, and Muriel will play a few tunes, as well. Every participant will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual attention on techniques, playing, and musicianship to help you make the most of your time with your guitar.

Muriel Anderson has learned from legendary musicians Chet Atkins, Les Paul, and classical guitarist Christopher Parkening. She has jammed with Jimmy Page (among others) and hosts the famous Muriel Anderson’s All Star Guitar Night. She is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship.
