A continuation of Beginning Guitar 1, you’ll take the next steps in your guitar playing by reviewing the basics then quickly moving on to new chords and the most important scale in folk, blues, and rock: the pentatonic scale. You’ll continue learning popular songs from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and begin singing along to as you play! For students previously enrolled in Beginning Guitar 1 or those who can play at least three chords.
Please bring a working guitar (rentals available through Dusty Strings), tuner, and a device for recording and/or taking video. You’ll receive PDF handouts and chord charts for practice.
